Starting point is always the flat blank. The Carton Formers Orion, Gemini and Auriga can cope with various blank designs and board qualities. No matter whether a customer is looking for square, rectangular, tapered, octagonal and hexagonal cartons or even cartons with cavity walls, we offer him all options.

In order to reduce weight our lock tools are made of carbon fibre.

End Load Cartoning

Starting point is always a pre-glued folding carton. The End load cartoners Centaurus, Pegasus and Scorpius are suitable for many applications within the envisaged market sectors such as Frozen & Fresh Food, Chocolate & Bars, Bakery & Biscuits, Dry Food and Consumer Goods.

The machines operate with a wide range of sizes and output speeds, are robust and very user-friendly designed. In particular we are focussing on modularity, quick and tool-free size change where possible and easy access for maintenance.

We manufacture semi-automatic machines for manual loading but also fully automatic high speed machines capable to produce 250 cartons per minute offering a wide spectrum of possible applications for 3S.

Integrated Top Load Cartoning System

A single unit consisting of three modules, the Cassiopeia series is designed to form, fill and close trays and cartons and eliminates the requirement for three separate machines and their associated space requirements.
Capable of forming cartons from flat blanks either with or without a hinged lid, lock style or 4 corner glue cartons the Cassiopeia offers all the features of the 3S 'Gemini and Auriga carton formers'. These include lightweight carbon fibre lock tools, adjustable glue tools, powered hopper and quick size change functionality.

The Cassiopeia loading module incorporates the agility of the Aquila series and is available in single and triple race track formats. Capabilities range from up to 300ppm on a single racetrack up to 700ppm on a triple racetrack format.

The closing module, the third function of the Cassiopeia, features technology developed for the 'Virgo' such as rubber fingers for carton control and quick size change performance.
