COMPANY PROFILE

G&A was founded in 1962 when their first product, a Flexo-Printer to print self adhesive tapes, was manufactured.

In 1963 the first Slitter-Rewinder always for self adhesive tapes was built and early in the '70 the basis were laid for the future development of the company with the production of Slitter-Rewinders for other materials (such as medical tapes, paper, fabrics) and of machines for the packaging of the finished rolls.

The continuous innovation, a typical aspect of the company, lead at the end of the '70 to the manufacturing of the first fully automatic Slitter-Rewinder in the world.
This machine was the first example of a series of Slitter-Rewinders that allowed the company to expand and develop consistently, becoming today the worldwide leader in the market of the automatic machines for the slitting and rewinding.

The success of G&A brand in the world lead the company to further extend its range of products with the introduction of some coating plants. In this field important results were achieved with the delivery of several lines for hot-melt production and for the paper saturation.

Today G&A is a well-established entity with its production mainly based on automatic machines with advanced technology that serve four primary markets:

· COATING MACHINES FOR SELF-ADHESIVE MATERIALS
· SLITTER-REWINDERS
· LOG WINDERS
· PACKAGING LINES FOR ROLLS AND LOGS

All the above machines can be integrated with each other, thus offering "fully automated production centers".
