Our Company

LUXBER starts its activities in 1975 as manufacturers of machines for the plastics industry. In 1980 was introduced its first complete equipement for extrusion blowmoulding, the COMAQ model. In 1983 was launched a new model called ALCON 8-3/E, with more capacity than its predecessor and incorporating advanced technology (operating systems by PLC) for a better control of the internal processes of the machine.

Later and and attending the markets demand of a machine for small capacities and easy to operate, a new equipment is developed. It is a monoblock format called LINCE, which offers versatility, easily to use and working speed for containers up to 2 litres. This machine has had a big acceptance between the buyers.

In 1990 starts contacts abroad in order to encourage the export business. By means of attending several International Fairs like PLASTIMAGEN (Mexico), EUROPLAST (Paris), SIPEC (Casablanca), EXPOTECNIA (Colombia), K (Düsseldorf, NPE (Chicago), ARABPLAST (Dubai) ALGER INT.FAIR (Alger), EMBALLAGE (Paris), HISPACK (Barcelona), INTERPACK (Düsseldorf) and many others, a fruitful market is created. Nowdays LUXBER exports to Mexico, Colombia, Algeria, Marocco, E.C., Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Hungary with an exports volume around 45 % over its turnover.

In 1996 LUXBER built an Injection-Stretch Blowmoulding machine for PET containers. This project got the Nova Award for technologycal innovation.

The last project has been a completely electrical driven Stretch Blowmoulding machine for PET preforms in 2004 which also has had lots of acceptance between our customers.

That year was opened a commercial branch in Bogota (Colombia) which follows up all the South America projects and has a major target the definitive entry in the Mercosur by means the creation of a sales net.

At the moment and after more than 25 years of experience in this field, LUXBER is a leading company as much at the national level as at international level. It employs 30 people and incorporates into its productive processes the last technologies like CAD-CAM and CNC.

The last project developed by LUXBER has been a Strecht Blowmoulding machines for PET preforms with 6 cavities which increases considerably its output capacity. LUXBER is proud to be between the leading companies at worldwide level for manufacturing of blowmoulding equipments having an excellent After Sales Service which attends in an inmediate way all the problems of our customers.
