Hitachi has relied on almost 40 years of experience with continuous ink jet technology to develop its latest CIJP series – the RX. As with all previous generations, reliability and ease of use are the key focal points.

The series comes in two variants, the entry level "Basic model" and the flexible "Standard" model. All models come with a 10.4" full colour touch panel displays with an icon based graphical user interface. Many user friendly software functions have been added including a WYSIWIG editor, message groups and a text search function.

Print speed has been increased without reducing print quality. The new nozzle system has been simplified for increased cleanliness and reliability. Also, each print head can be turned at a 90 degree angle without the need for any additional parts.

The standard model offers a wide range of options so that the specification can be easily matched to the application requirements. Whether it is higher speeds, longer messages, 2D barcodes etc., the RX standard has everything to meet a wide and varied range of user's requirements.

At the core of all Hitachi's CIJ systems is the print engine. The print engine of the RX has been designed with reliability and minimal solvent consumption in mind. A reduction in the number of moving parts is the key improvement to further increase reliability.

To be "Inconspicuous" a printer also should be clean. With the RX series, Hitachi introduces a new innovative system, which detects instantaneous power outages and ensures that no ink is released from the print head, avoiding spillage or spoilt products.

The standard model also includes a special power down feature, where one switch allows for both a controlled shutdown and disconnection from the mains network.

Thermal Transfer Printing Systems

When formats have to be changed very often our NG-series is the printing system to be used.Here you can integrate text, graphics, logos, real time, date or barcodes into your format. Our NG-series is able to print a serial data matrix barcode according to the GS1 standard. Within this range many different printing systems for a lot of applications are available. Here you can choose between 6 sizes. Included is here our NG 8 system which printing area is unique in the world. All of these systems are designed for a maximum efficiency and reliability. Hot Foil Printing Systems

In areas where formates are rarely changed or with especially small character heights we reccomend to use our hot foil coders. The format is being set mechanically including types or numerators. Clichees can be manufactured according to your demand. Our new hot foil coding system Primus will lead you into a new dimension. The magazine system and a new way of handling regarding the type holder enlarge the efficiency of the complete system.

- Our NG Series Highlight -

One thing unites all of our thermal transfer printing systems of the NG range: all of them are easy to operate, stable and work very reliable within production sites. With different print areas this series creates proper print results onto different labels and packaging films by using the thermal transfer printing technology.

The NG+ is our latest member of the NG series and unites the control unit and the print head. In addition to the well established advantages of the standard NG series, the NG+ is compact and space saving. Because of the integrated control unit the system is easy to implement into host machines. You can eiter operate it centrally via our a:touch, via your host machine or by a Windows PC. The new USB interface of the NG+ makes your life very simple when equating printing systems or entering backups. The NG+ can be mounted within a usual NG frame, which makes it absolutely easy to change over from a standard NG series printing system.

The new NG+ is available as a 2" and 4" thermal transfer printing system.
