Marchesini Group’s mission is to provide complete personalized lines for packaging cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. Founded in 1974 at Pianoro (BO), where the headquarters still stand to this day, Marchesini has grown over the years through merges and partnership agreements with similar concerns in the sector, and has become a company able to handle the entire packaging process, from upstream to downstream, for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry.
Constantly dedicated to innovation, the Group has been able to carve out a leading role in Italy and in the international markets and, as of now, 85% of its turnover is generated by exports, principally to countries in Europe and the USA. Marchesini is present in 68 countries worldwide, with 10 divisions in the markets of reference (UK, USA, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Benelux, Spain, the Middle East and Asia Pacific) and a capillary network of 44 representative agencies. 80% of production is intended for the pharmaceutical sector, 15% for the cosmetics sector and the remaining 5% for the food sector.
