SporeClear™ Medical Device Disinfectants

Hu-Friedy, a global leader in the manufacture of dental instruments and products, announces the launch of SporeClear™ Medical Device Disinfectants. The product provides fast, simple and effective disinfection of critical office workspaces. SporeClear will be brought to market in August. It fulfils EU regulations EN1276, EN13727, EN1656, EN1650, EN13624, EN1657, EN14204, EN14476, EN13704, and bears the CE mark.

SporeClear eliminates viruses, bacteria, fungi and spores within a minute of application. The powerful innovation is effective against many of the most dangerous pathogens, such as the H1N1 flu virus, tuberculosis, the multi-resistant MRSA and hepatitis B and C. The patented liquid forms the basis for a range of disinfectant products. SporeClear wet wipes, spray and concentrate are all available.

In contrast to many other disinfectants, SporeClear is alcohol-free and is suitable for the disinfection and cleaning of all washable surfaces. These include walls and floors, metal, plastic, acrylic, as well as porcelain and wood. The numerous different possible applications make SporeClear efficient in disinfecting critical surfaces.

The patented SporeClear formula makes the disinfectant remarkably effective and surprisingly mild. SporeClear is free from aldehydes, chlorine, phenols peroxides and NPEs, and is therefore non-abrasive, non-corrosive and non-volatile.

SporeClear Medical Device Disinfectants are suitable for professional use in dental clinics and dental practices. Contaminated areas are quickly and easily cleaned and disinfected. SporeClear is colourless and has a fresh, pleasant aroma.
