Accreditation on site

In order to make your preparations and stay at the forthcoming interpack from 12 to 18 May 2011 as comfortable as possible, we have compiled some information for you regarding the official registration process as well as the range of services provided by the press department:

1. Press accreditation for interpack 2011 takes place only at the fairground. On May, 11 registration is possible in the ground level of the main administration building and in the press center. Starting on May 12 there will be further accreditation counters in all entrances (North, South, East). Press Cards will not be mailed prior to the fair.

2. Please submit a valid and recognized press pass or authorization letter from your editor-in-chief. An up to date voucher copy bearing your name in the imprint/editorial section will also be recognized in connection with your personal ID.

3. Please appreciate that all non-editors, (as marketing or advertising managers) are not eligible to receive the press ticket. We would like to point out that prior inclusion in the Messe Düsseldorf press distribution list does not automatically guarantee issuing of a press ticket.

4. Our Press Center is located in the 1st floor of the main administration building and is open daily from 11 to 18 of May 2011 from 9.00am to 8.30pm. Here, you will find lockers as well as technical facilities – such as PC, Internet access, W-LAN, fax, telephone or copiers. You will also be able to obtain press releases, special articles, photos and information of the exhibitors as well as snacks and refreshments.

5. Train, bus or car: You will find detailed information on how to get to the fairground at www.interpack.com, see our Press Service and „Arrival”. If you come by car, please use the multi-storey car park “P4” on Stockumer Kirchstraße next to the administration building (follow the signs “Messe Verwaltung/administration”). If you visit the fair for the first time, please take a park ticket when entering the car park. When you leave, please show your press pass issued by Messe Düsseldorf. You will then receive your ticket to exit free of charge. During the following days your press pass also acts as permit for the car-park and entitles you to a ticket to exit.

7. Take advantage of www.interpack.com for the preparation of your visit to interpack. You will find all relevant information about the fair (e.g. a personal hall plan) and its special themes INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING, Metal Packaging Plaza and SAVE FOOD online as well as the news of our exhibitors in the company and product news database.
